HORIZON school page is back; requests submissions
CLAY COUNTY-With the HORIZON school distribution program and designated school page underway, officials with the newspaper here are again in need of school-related news to feature on the page.
“We want to encourage all teachers, administrators, and others to submit any news about school-related happenings to the paper by email or by dropping it off on Mondays at our office,” HORIZON editor Thomas Weaver said. “Thanks to our sponsors–Tri-County Electric, Dairy Queen, and Twin Lakes Telephone–each student here in the county will receive a free paper again this year and those issues will feature a page dedicated to school news.”
The school page has included perfect attendance, honor roll, recognition photos, event photos, meeting announcements, and much more in the past and the HORIZON wants to be sure to continue that tradition, but submissions are needed to make the page happen.
“We will gladly run anything anyone wants to send us relevant to our schools here in the county,” Weaver said, “and email ([email protected]) is the best avenue to get it to us.
“We hope our inbox is full next week!”
