Hospital health fair a big success
Cumberland River Hospital’s health fair held in conjunction with Homecoming Days this year was a “big success,” according to officials with the hospital.
They said they had a good turnout of people taking advantage of the services offered by the vendors at the event.
The fair featured free blood pressure checks and diabetic foot screenings and several discounted blood work tests for patrons.
It offered the community here a chance to have their health evaluated with minimal cost involved.
The hospital offered its appreciation to all workers, volunteers, vendors, and donors who helped make the event possible.
