CELINA-Funeral Services for Jack Jones of Celina were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with David Threet officiating. Tom White, Justin White, Braiden White, Matt White, Laith Alwan and James Eads served as active pall bearers while Doug Spears, Mickey Clements, Bob Proffitt, Jimmy Butler, David Sharp, Phillip Jones, Joe Wayne Key, Gary Key, Phillip Clark, Gray Roberts, Dwain Roush, Ray Boles and Canton Lodge #481 served as honorary pallbearers.
Jack Jones, age 74, died gracefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina.
Jack was born in Clay County on Thursday, September 2,1943.  Throughout his life he was first a husband, father, brother and friend and served in many roles including working many years at Osh Kosh and most as a business owner of Jack’s Quick Shop. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Rex and Jessie (Roberts) Jones. 
Jack was a faithful member of the Arcot Church of Christ.
Jack is survived by his wife Anita Jones of Celina; daughter Lisa Jones (Laith) Alwan of Montgomery, AL; step-son Lance (Brandi) Roach of Celina; sisters Shirley (Fred) Melton of Moss, Betty Jo (W.C.) White of Celina; grandchildren Cassidy Alwan, Channing Alwan; step-granddaughter Laney Roach; step-grandson Baylon Langford; nephew Tom White; niece Kim McLerran; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews as well as many friends also mourn his passing.
