CELINA-Funeral Services for Joel Howard Eads, 67 of Celina were held Friday, March 11, 2011 at Upton Funeral Home Noel Cherry officiating with interment to follow in McColgan Cemetery.

Joel Eads passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Joel Howard Eads was born July 21, 1943 to the late Vanus and Lillie Belle (Brown) Eads.

Joel was a retired maintenance worker for T Dot and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. Joel was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by wife, Betty Lou Eads of Celina; son, Joey Eads (Angie) of Cookeville, Tennessee; daughter, Shana Robinson (Bryan) of Celina; sister, Lois Crawford (Tullus)of Paducah, Kentucky; grandchild, Josh Rector; great grandchildren, Asia & Alison Rector.

Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Rhoton, Jed Donaldson, Jerry Brown, Randell Eads, Alan West & David Rector. Honorary pallbearer Josh Rector.

Upton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
