CELINA-The Cumberland Rim Conference Basketball Tournament will be held here this Saturday at Clay County High School, where both the Celina and Hermitage Springs boys and girls junior high teams could be competing.

The Hermitage Springs teams were trying to earn their berths into this weekend’s tournament with play-in game wins Thursday night at Red Boiling Springs (RBS), where the girls game was set to tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the boys game.

With a win, the Lady Wildcats would face the #1 seed Jr. Lady Dawgs at 10 a.m., followed by a girls game between Westmoreland and Trousdale County.

Like the Hermitage Springs girls, the Wildcats will need a win Thursday at RBS to advance to play #1 seed Hartsville here at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

That game will be followed by the #3 seed Jr. Dawgs facing off with Westmoreland at 1:45 p.m.

The girls championship game will follow at 3 p.m., with the boys title game to be played after at 4:30 p.m.
