HILHAM-Funeral Services for Leon Beechboard of Hilham were held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with Bro. Shannon Hammock officiating. Interment followed in the Turkeytown Cemetery. Gary Allen, Winton & Clark Dillon, Billy Ray & Greg Boles & Jeff Tidwell served as pallbearers.

Leon Beechboard, age 63, passed away Friday, September 6, 2012 at the Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston.

He was born February 15, 1950 in Clay County to the late Fowler & Thelma Mae (Boles) Beechboard.

He is survived by his son Joey Beechboard of Hilham; brother Carl Wayne (Sherry) Beechboard of Hilham; sisters Pearlie (Jerry) Tidwell of Hilham & Kathy Dailey of Hilham; grandson Ethan Beechboard and step-granddaughters Judith Allen and Autumn Dotson.
