The Clay County Public Library will have The Science Guy here on Thursday, June 25, at 10:00 for the Summer Reading Program this year. This educational, entertaining performer was here last year and everyone really enjoyed him.

The Upper Cumberland Regional Library will be here on July 2 at 9:30 for the annual Puppet Show.

The monthly teen night for June has been cancelled due to scheduling difficulties. We will have our teen night at the end of July as usual.

New DVD’s at the library this week are “Montana Sky and Carolina Moon”, “Angel Falls and Blue Smoke”, “He’s Just Not That Into You”, “Personal Effects”, and “Taking Chances”.

The library will change the schedule for the July 4th weekend. We will open from 8:30 until 12:30 on July 3, then close Friday afternoon and Saturday. We will reopen on Monday, July 6 at our regular time.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 until 4:30, Wednesday from 3:00 until 8:00, and Saturday from 9:00 until 1:00. Come in and check us out!
