The Clay County Public Library Halloween party is scheduled for Friday, October 30, beginning at 6:00. Our teens are hosting the party, and will have games and treats for all young trick or treaters. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume, but it is not required.
There are several new books in this week. New fiction titles include “Different” by Michael Frederick, “A Lineage of Grace” by Francine Rivers, “The Sound of Sleigh Bells” by Cindy Woodsmall, “Giv: The Story of a Dog and America” by Boston Teran, “Even” by Andrew Grant, “House of Reckoning” by John Saul, and “Blood Game” by Iris Johansen. New biographies include “Magnificent Desolation” by Buzz Aldrin, “True Compass” by Edward Kennedy, and “A Heart to Serve” by William H. Frist. New on DVD at the library are “House: Season 5”, “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”, “Ghost Son”, “Fear Itself: Season 1”, “Goosebumps: Monster Blood”, “Goosebumps: One Day at Horrorland”, “The Jungle Book”, “George and the Dragon”, “The Proposal”, “Book of Blood”, and “Saving Grace: Season 1”.
