Local clerk offering new service

Passport photos can now be obtained in Celina
CELINA-A new service is now being offered to the community by Clay County Circuit Court Clerk Keshia Smith Goad’s office.
Goad recently announced her office is now offering passport photos.
“After Walgreens closed we understood the burden it put on our citizens having to travel out of county to acquire passport pictures,” Goad said. “My office is already a passport acceptance agent facility, so now with us offering passport pictures you can come to my office and get everything done with one stop when you need to get a new passport or we will be glad to help with a renewal.
“We hope this will ease the burden on our Citizens, if we can help you in anyway don’t hesitate to give us a call.”
Goad explained the passport photo fee is $15, with the money collected being deposited into the Clay County General Fund.
For more information about this service, contact Goad or deputy clerk Jennifer Ritter at 931-243-2557.
