Leon Watson, 80
CELINA-Funeral Services for Leon Watson of Celina, were held, Friday, May 17, 2024, in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Kenny Westmoreland and Craig Ogletree officiating and interment followed in the Williams Cemetery. Kevin Gilpatrick, Seth Gilpatrick, Rob Eads, Linkoln Watson, Larry Watson and Will Ogletree served as Pallbearers.
Mr. Leon Watson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born on Thursday, December 2, 1943, to the late Ross and Halie Watson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Watson; father and mother-in-law, Lebert and Nova Sullivan.
Leon worked in many capacities along the way, most I am sure remember him owning and operating “Leons” which was the market at the state line on Pea Ridge and working at the Sheriff’s office.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending church at Beech Bethany.
He is survived by his spouse, Jodi Watson; daughter-in-law Teresa Watson Flowers; grandchildren, Jamie Hammock (Eric), Candace Watson (Josh Cravins), and Chloe Watson (Patrick Barnett); great-grandchildren, Seth, Kevin, Brody, Liam, John Larkin, Jameson, Kevin, Cooper, Cora, Benton, Leighton, Carson, Sophia, and Emery; sister, Bernice Rush; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.

Shirley Copas West, 80
RED BOILING SPRINGS-Funeral Services for Shirley Copas West were conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother John Davis officiating. Interment followed in the Hermitage Springs Cemetery.
Shirley Copas West was born May 16, 1943 in Clay County, Tennessee, a daughter born to the late Evertt and Mary (Babbitt) Copas and departed this life May 12, 2024 at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 26 days.
Survivors include: sisters, Reba Copas & Thelma Bartley both of the Hermitage Springs Community; brother, Ronald Copas of Manchester, TN.; niece, Scarlett and husband Mark Hudson; nephews, Parrish and wife Cindy Wright, Shannon and wife Latisha Wright, Shane Wright, Tracy Bartley, Terry Copas, Chris and wife Shannon Copas & Jason Copas; 8 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews.

Bobby Eugene Lee, 64
CELINA-Funeral services Bobby Eugene Lee were conducted at 2 pm on Saturday May 11, 2024, in the Chapel of Clay County Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Turkeytown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made towards Bobby’s funeral Expense.
Bobby Eugene Lee was born October 24, 1959, in Gainesboro, TN, and he passed away in Overton County, on May 7, 2024, at the age of 64.
Bobby was the son of Bobby Keith Lee and Katherine Beulah Boles. He was a jack of all trades and worked in road construction.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Danny Clay Lee and Walter Boles.
Survivors include his daughters: Robin (Blade Burnette) Cornell, Tasha Lee Combs both of Celina, TN; Sisters: Barbara Qualls of Nashville, TN, Gail Mullins of Livingston, TN Grandchildren: Chloe, Caden, Calleigh, Kobyn, Connor, Carson, Creed, Avery, and several other friends and family also survive.

Gemes Allen Daniels, 80
CELINA-Funeral Services for Al Daniels were held on Friday May 3, 2024 at 2PM in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Strong and Jim Blankenship officiating.
Gemes Allen Daniels, age 80, was born on June 23, 1943, and passed away at home on May 1, 2024, with his wife, Faye, at his side.
Al was born in Clay County, TN to Charles and Lucy Daniels. He resided in the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County. Al worked most of his life as a rock crusher operator and enjoyed the outdoors.
Al was proceeded in death by his parents, brother; James Daniels, Twins; Lesile and Weslie Daniels, sister; Bonnie Conover, and grandson Nathan Daniels
Al is survived by his wife, Faye Daniels, two daughters Anita (Dennis) McClain of Celina, TN, and Sandy Daniels of Celina, TN, son; Michael Daniels of Celina, TN, grandchildren; Tiffany (Daniel) Strong of Celina, TN, Timeka (Colby) Garrison of Celina, TN, Trent (Allie) Boles of Celina, Sierra Taylor of Celina, TN, Cheyenne (Ryder) Goodnight of Celina, TN, and Griffin McClain of Celina, TN, great-grandchildren; Haylen, Fletcher, Harper, Bryce, Harleigh, Milla, and Addie.

Carolyn Ann Scott Cunningham, 77
MOSS-Graveside services for Carolyn Ann Scott Cunningham of Moss were held on Sunday, May 19th at 2 pm at Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Darren Gore officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Macedonia Cemetery or Williams Cemetery.Carolyn Ann Scott Cunningham, age 77, passed away on May 15, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Carolyn was born on November 18, 1946, to the late Opal Jewell and Leonard Scott. She worked at Celina K-8 for several years in the front office, doing what she loved, talking to people. She never met a stranger. She was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son: Justin Cunningham of Celina, TN; two grandchildren: Eliza Cunningham and Adleigh Cunningham; brother: Allen Scott of Celina, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bart Jack Cunningham, and parents.
