CELINA-Funeral Services for Mrs. Lulie May Strode of Celina were held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 2 PM from the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Macedonia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers where her grandchildren.

Mrs. Lulie May Strode, age 74, passed away at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on Friday, January 21, 2011.

Mrs. Strode was born in Clay County on March 19, 1936 to the late Hershel Huck and Mary Ann (Strong) Trobaugh.

She is survived by son Mitchel Strode of Celina; daughters-in-law Margie Crawford, Vickie White; grandchildren Donnie (Chastity) Strode, Lonnie (Christian) Strode, James (Amanda) Strode, Randy Strode, Tim Strode, Joseph Lee (Jennifer) Strode, Tara Strode, Joe Strode, Jeanette Strode, William Strode; great-grandchildren Savanna Strode, Logan Gilbert Strode, Rebecca Strode, Caitlin Strode, Shelby-Joe Strode, Lilly Hall, Kelsie Key, Logan Strode, Dalton Strode.

She was preceded in death by parents Hershel Huck and Mary Ann (Strong) Trobaugh; husband Floyd Gilbert Strode; sons Floyd Wayne Strode, Hairold Junior Strode; grandson Wayne Strode; daughter-in-law Jackie Strode; many brothers & sisters.
