CELINA – Funeral Services for Mable Christine Smith, 84 of Celina were held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Upton Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Burial was in Hamilton Addition-Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Christine Smith passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mable Christine Smith was born March 25, 1926 in Willow Grove, Tennessee to the late Milton and Effie (McClusky) Roach.

Christine was a homemaker & member of the Celina Church of Christ.

Her family includes sons, James Smith & wife, Judy of Cookeville, Tennessee, Wayne Smith & wife Reba of Moss, Eddie Smith & wife, Darlene of Lebanon, Tennessee, Phillip Smith & wife, Diana of Celina, Thomas Smith of Celina & Bobby Smith of Celina; brother, Bill Roach of Celina; sisters, Lorene Richardson of Allons, Tennessee & Rosa Lee Cole of Indianapolis, Indiana; 15 Grandchildren & 29 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, James Lee Smith; son, Billy Ray Smith and grandson, Danny Ray Smith

Serving as pallbearers were Tony, Josh, Steven, Jason, Phillip Jr., and Jacob

Upton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
