CELINA-Funeral services for Mona A. Watts of Livingston, formerly of Celina were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Don Cobb officiated and interment followed at Keen Cemetery in Celina. At the request of the family, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the SNIP Animal Shelter Program in memory of Mona.
Mona A. Watts, age 60, passed away Tuesday, October 31, at her home in Livingston. She was born October 27, 1957, in Clay County, the daughter of the late Edward H. and Belva Jean Ridge Nivens. She was a caregiver in area nursing homes, and enjoyed traveling and visiting with family. Family was important to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “Doc” Watts, and other family members.
Mona is survived by daughter Staci Hahn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers David Roddy of Durham, North Carolina, John Kilzner of Jackson; sister Deborah Bush of Upton, Kentucky; her caregiver, companion, and best friend Clifford Cross of Livingston; grandson Dylan Pursley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
