CELINA-Moody’s Access, located on the Obey River below Dale Hollow Dam, is temporarily closed due to increased discharges from the dam, Corps of Engineer officials announced Wednesday.  

As the Corps continues to manage water releases throughout the Cumberland River Basin, increased discharges through spilling and generation at Dale Hollow have been necessary to balance the water in the system, they said. 

The Moody’s Access parking lot, fishing piers, and entrance roadway are currently under water as a result of the increased discharges.  Due to public safety concerns, the entrance roadway was barricaded today at TN Highway 53.  Please direct questions regarding this closure and release schedules at Dale Hollow Dam to the Dale Hollow Resource Manager’s Office at 931-243-3136.
