Moss men are 2013 Rolley Hole champs
STANDING STONE PARK-Several Clay County residents were among the winners of the 31st Annual National Rolley Hole Marbles Championship held here September 14 including Larry Denton and Russell Collins, both of Moss, taking first place in the Rolly Hole competition, the Tennessee Square champions Malcolm Strong of Moss and partner Buck Houchens of Glasgow, KY, Ringer winner Brooklyn Cherry of Moss, and British first place team of Jack Tinsley, Coy Tinsley, and Logan Mayberry all of Celina, along with teammate Paul Davis from Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
Twelve year old Smithville, Tennessee resident Connor Rice took first place in GA Rolley Hole (Youth Division) while the adult division was won by Bobby Fulcher of Clinton, Tennessee. Tompkinsville, Kentucky native Melissa Page shot for the win in Breaktime.
Other Clay residents made their mark on the results taking fourth, Jack and Coy Tinsley, in Rolley Hole, a second place finish, Junior B. Strong, in Tennessee Square, and a second in Breaktime by Brooklyn Cherry.
