PRESERVING OUR HISTORY- Michael Gavin, Anne-Leslie Owens and a group of students from the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University made their third field visit this year to the Clay County courthouse to take notes and gather information.  Gavin, the preservation specialist for the Tennessee Civil War National Heritage Area (pictured right), is using his twenty-five years of experience in rehabilitating historic buildings to provide the Downtown Celina Revitalization Committee with ideas to ensure this beautiful, old structure is useful, safe and sound for future generations.
