CELINA-The second annual Museum Festival held here downtown earlier this month has been deemed another huge success by organizers and they offered their appreciation to all involved.

“We would like to say a big thank you to Clay County, our vendors, and especially our benefactors for a very successful Museum Festival and Mighty Duck Race,” interim Clay County Museum president Beverly Hollifield said.

Robert Corr was presented with the $1,000 prize for winning the Mighty Duck Race by Mary Loyd Reneau and Joshua and Stacey Holcombe of Dale Hollow Pizza donated their entire sales from the Friday night before the event, which totaled $2,472.

“What a generous and fantastic gift to the museum,” Hollifield said.  “We can’t thank them and all involved enough!”
