Nick Cox

Bulldog sophomore tailback and linebacker Nick Cox has been chosen the HORIZON player of the week for his efforts against Red Boiling Springs.

Cox had a fine game on both sides of the ball, rushing for 86 yards and a TD on only seven carries, and coming up with three big turnovers on defense. He recovered a fumble and intercepted a pair of passes. 

He played only the first three quarters, leaving the field after being injured on his second interception. Clay County won the game 26-6.
