Orpha Poteet Kirby Kittrell, 91
RED BOILING SPRINGS-Funeral services for Orpha Poteet Kirby Kittrell of Red Boiling Springs were held here Sunday, March 22, 2009.
Mrs. Kittrell passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs.
She was born May 13, 1917 in Clay County to the late Walter and Lula Coffelt Poteet. On May 31, 1937, she married Jake Kirby, who preceded her in death on May 8, 1962. She later marrried Donald Kittrell on July 8, 1967, who also preceded in death on January 4, 1991. She was a member of the Bakerton Church of Christ and was a store clerk with 25 years of service.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers Charlie and Grady Poteet and step-daughter Abilene Oliver.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law Earl Ray and Nina Kirby of Red Boiling Springs and Harold Wayne Kirby of Clearwater (FL); step-daughter Shelby (Pete) Paterson of White House (TN); step-sons Donald Ray Kittrell of Philadelphia (PA) and David (Morene) Kittrell of Mt. Juliet; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted form the chapel of Anderson and Son Funeral Home with E.C. Meadows officiating. Burial was in the Clark Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her family and friends.

Mary Ada Johnson, 88
CELINA-Funeral services for Mary Ada Johnson of Celina were held here Sunday, March 15, 2009.
Mrs. Johnson passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Cumberland River Hospital.
She was born October 24, 1920 in Clay County to the late Lem and Roxie (Richardson). She was a factory worker and a member of the Shanky Branch Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Ronnie Mack Johnson and husband McCLoyd Johnson.
She is survived by brother Kenneth McClain of Evansville (IN) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with her brother Kenneth McClain officiating. Burial was in the McDonald Cemetery.
Hall Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
Kevin Lee Watson, 41
CELINA-Funeral services for Kevin Lee Watson of Celina were held here Thursday, March 26, 2009.
Mr. Watson passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Hospital.
He was born December 2, 1967 in Livingston to Leon Cornell and Jo Nell (Sullivan) Watson. He was a cooler mover for Coca-Cola and a member of Rock Springs Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Ross and Halie Watson and grandfather Lebert Sullivan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by wife Teresa (Roach) Watson of Celina; grandmother Nova Sullivan of Celina; daughters Jamie Lynn Gilpatrick, Candice Jo Watson, and Chloe Reece Watson all of Celina; grandchildren Seth Conner and Kevin Leland Gilpatrick; mother-in-law Emelene Roach of Celina; and father-in-law Carl Lee Roach of Celina.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Gordon Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Gilpatrick, Dave Leech, Doyle Thompson, Chad Watson, Chase Stephens, and Dusty Adams.
Upton Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
