Ollis M. Adams, 83

GAMALIEL-Graveside services for Ollis M. Adams of Red Boiling Springs were held here Monday, April 20, 2009.

Mr. Adams passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born July 3, 1925 in Monroe County to the late Andrew and Vadie Deckard Adams. He was an equipment operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Elaine Kay Adams.

He is survived by daughters Kathy Hendrix of Delight (AR), Ginger Crabtree, and Tammy Strode both of Tompkinsville; sons Charles Adams of Hermitage Springs and Larry Strode of Tompkinsville; sisters Velma Ruth Hurd of Gamaliel and Louise Hayden of Decatur (IL); 16 grandchildren; 17 great-granchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were conducted from the Gamaliel Cemetery with Tom Carter officiating. His family served at pallbearers.

Anderson and Son Funeral Home of Red Boiling Springs was in charge of arrangements.
