Vola Leonard Huff Davis, 77
RED BOILING SPRINGS-Funeral services for Vola Leonard Huff Davis of Red Boiling Springs and formerly of the Leonard Community were held here Sunday, April 26, 2009.
Mrs. Davis passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs.
She was born April 26, 1931 in Clay County to the late Smith and Elvira Loftis Leonard. She was married to Virgil Paul Huff, who preceded her in death. She later married Thomas Wesley Davis, who also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leonard Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by sons Thomas Wesley Davis II and Paul Smith Huff; brother Willis G. McCarter; and grandson Wesley Paul Reviere.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Peggy Huff of the Leonard Community, Pam and Lonnie Stubblefield of Lafayette, Lesa and Rob Reviere of Chapel Hill (NC), and Angel and Robin Gregory of Lafayette; sister Polly Netherton of the Leonard Community; half-sister Stella May Swellie of Nashville; grandchildren Ashley Stubblefield, Lacey Dias, Danielle Reviere, Dusty Stubblefield, and Austin Dias; step-grandchildren Stephen and Dylan Gregory; and great-granddaughter Keeley Williams.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Anderson and Son Funeral with Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial was in the Leonard Cemetery.

Eva Cross Long Spivey, 85
RED BOILING SPRINGS-Funeral services for Eva Cross Long Spivey of the Union Hill Community were held here Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Mrs. Spivey passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born January 6, 1924 in Clay County to the late Estus and Lucy Birdwell Cross. On December 21, 1940, she married Rex Elonzo Long, who preceded her in death on November 17, 1973. She later married Floyd Lester Spivey on June 21, 1986, who also preceded her in death on October 21, 2007. She was a garment factory worker and a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by brother Alvin “Bud” Cross and sister Irene Long.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Rita and Jerry Ford of Gamailel, Sheila and Jerry Davis of the Hermitage Springs Community, Darla and Victor Morey of Antioch (TN), and Cindy and James Pruett of the Hermitage Springs Community; son Clarence “Peachie” Long of Red Boiling Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law Neva Johnson of Celina, Virginia Purcell of Greenwood (IN), Ruth and Jerry Denton of the Union Hill Community, Carolyn and Sonny Collins of the Pine Hill Community; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Ruthie Cross of the Wartrace Community; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Anderson and Son Funeral Home with Hubert Jones officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Community. Her family served as pallbearers.

Kenneth Key, 65
CELINA-Funeral services for Kenneth Key of Celina were held here Sunday, April 26, 2009.
Mr. Key passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 22, 1944 to the late Armel and Maggie (Conner) Key. He was a painter and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Rosie Key; son Gary Key; sisters Ida Dean Key and Elizabeth Key; and brother Willie Cordell Key.
He is survived by son Steve Key of Celina and sister Ina Sloan Key of Celina.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in the Key-Killmon Cemetery.
