Velvet Grogan, 63
CELINA-Funeral services for Velvet Grogan of Celina were held here Sunday, June 28, 2009.
Mrs. Grogan passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis (IN).
She was born in Indianapolis on April 25, 1946, the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth (Wills) Klippner. She worked at OshKosh B’Gosh as a garment machine operator for over 21 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Henry Klippner.
She is survived by husband Junior Grogan of Celina; step-daughters Bridget Thrasher and Ashley Thrasher of Indiana; five sisters–Cindy Hochgesang, Sandy Miller, Bonnie Ellis, and Jackie Klippner of Indiana, and Tammy Holbrook of Celina; brother Butch Burgress of Indiana; special nieces Leeanna Holbrook and Francis Baer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home, with Bonnie Ellis officiating. Burial was in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Hochgesang, Jimmy Raines, Johnny Baer, Jolene Scott, Christian Fredricks and Jackie Klippner.
Hall Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
Keith J. Meise, 50
CELINA-Funeral services for Keith Meise of Celina were held here Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
Mr. Meise passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 at his residence.
He was born May 17, 1959 in West Caldwell (New Jersey), the son of the late Edward and Anna May Meise. He was a cement truck operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Lori Ann Meise.
He is survived by wife Tamra Meise of Celina, daughter Erin Marie Meise of Celina, son Ryan Keith Meise of Celina, brothers Kenneth Meise of Nutley (NJ) and Mark Meise of West Caldwell, and lifetime friend Jimmy Fiorentino.
Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home, with Keith Long officiating.

Marie Stephens Souls, 72
CELINA- Funeral services for Marie Stephens Souls of Pegram (TN) were held Monday July 6, 2009.
Mrs. Souls passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2009 at her residence.
She was born June 20, 1937 in Clay County to the late Joseph and Belva Gladys (Anderson) Meadows. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by husband Valma E. Souls; sons Danny (Lisa) Stephens and Keith (Lisa) Stephens; daughter-in-law Aletha Stephens; sisters Jean Finch, Kathy Kilmon and Pandora Reagan; brothers Russell, Willie and Bobby Meadows; step-daughter Rebecca Souls Russell; grandchildren Danny (Mitchelle) Stephens, Jr., Nita Marie (Duane) Shoemake, Jessica (John) Fisher, and Michelle Stephens; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at Upton Funeral Home with Ronnie Parsons officiating.
