Charles Donald Ledbetter, 70
CELINA-Charles Donald Ledbetter of Celina passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Ledbetter was born December 27, 1938 in Allons to the late John H. and Flora (Ray) Ledbetter. He was a crane operator at Ford Automotive.
He is survived by daughter Wendy Keen of Celina; sons Ricky Ledbetter of Texas and Ronnie Ledbetter of Ohio; three sisters–Pauline Brown of Celina, Ruth Hunter of Ohio, and Linda Gray of Livingston; brother David Ledbetter of Allons; three nephews–Mark Ledbetter, Carl Edward Ledbetter, and David Ledbetter; niece Marcela Martinez; and several grandchildren.
Hall Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
Hubert Cordell Strong, 82
CELINA-Funeral services for Hubert Cordell Strong of Celina were held here Friday, August 7, 2009.
Mr. Strong passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Cumberland River Hospital.
He was born August 7, 1926 in Clay County to the late Evert and Iva (Spivey) Strong. He served in the U.S. Army as a Private in the Korean War. He was a self-employed farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Rebecca Louise Strong; brother Joe James Strong; and sisters Verlie Waddell and Elizabeth Edgin.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Linda Strong; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Barry Jones; sister Billie Nell Sullivan; grandchildren Daniel Louis and Dale Strong.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Daniel Strong, Dale Strong, Jason Hamilton, Jack Sullivan, Joseph Donaldson, and Ronnie Strong.

Mike Patino, 58
CELINA-Funeral services for Mike Patino of Celina were held here Tuesday, August 11, 2009.
Mr. Patino passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born August 28, 1950 in Del Rio (TX) to the late Antonio and Aurora Patino. He was employed at the Clay County Manor in maintenance.
He is survived by wife Rebecca Patino; son Michael Patino; step-daughter Debbie Hensel; step-son Gene Creselious; three sisters–Ofelia Patino, Amelia Patino, and Delia Patino; five brothers–Tony Patino, Jimmy Patino, Margarito Patino, Juan Patino, and Abelardo Lalio Patino; grandchildren Christopher, Cinnamon, and Sonya Hensel, April, James, Debbie, Gene Allan, Sandy, and Mary Jo Creselious, and Tyson Victor and Vada Marie Chapoy; great-grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel Hensel; niece and great-niece Sandra and Keisha Hernandez; and nephews Jessie Patino and Felix Hernandez.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill in Albany (KY).

James L. Brown, 79
CELINA-Funeral Services for James L. Brown of Indianapolis (IN) were held here Monday, August 3, 2009.
Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born February 1, 1930 in Hilham to the late Ella (Upton) and Claude Brown. He serviced in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953, serving 2 years in Germany. James worked at Stokely-Van Camp, Inc. for 34 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Southeastern Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Raymond Brown; and son James Brown.
He is survived by wife Rosa Lee Dulworth; son Jimmy Brown; daughters Barbara Sims, Cathy Brown, Brenda (Ronnie) England, Linda Doody, and Tammy (Steve) Kauffman; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren all of Indianapolis; and brother Paul Brown of Moss.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Dennis Miller officiating. Burial was in the Moss Cemetery.
