Edith A. Keisling Clark, 87
MONROE-Graveside services for Edith A. Keisling Clark of Celina were held here Friday, September 11, 2009.
Mrs. Clark passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Overton County Nursing Home.
She was born March 18, 1922 in Pickett County to the late Fred and Bertha Smith Keisling. She was a housewife and a member of the Midway Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Joe Clark; sister Ardean Coleman; and brothers Jack, Loyd, Kelly, and Smith Keisling.
She is survived by son Joe Edd Clark of Albany (KY); and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at the Hatcher Hall Cemetery with Dee Wells officiating.
Speck Funeral Home of Livingston was in charge of arrangements.
Nora Jane Smith, 52
CELINA-Funeral services for Nora Jane Smith of Celina were held here Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
Ms. Smith passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She was born August 1, 1957 in Louisville (KY) to the late James Flora and Kathy (McDonald) Anderson, who survives.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughter Charley Jane Abbott of Celina; son Charles “Chuckie” Deryl Smith of Cookeville; grandchildren Kaylee Jane Abbott and Jonathan James Hunter Abbott; sisters Alice Carol Coppedge of Florida and Francis Wren of Louisville; brother Derrick Anderson of Louisville; niece Kristin (Josh) Strong; and great-nieces and nephews Dreama, Haylee, Veronica, and J.J.
Services were conducted from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Paul “Cricket” Strong officiating. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery in Moss.
Hall Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
Bobby Joines, 80
RED BOILING SPRINGS-Graveside services for Bobby Joines of Colona (IL) and formerly of Red Boiling Springs were held here Friday, September 18, 2009.
Mr. Joines passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1929 in Red Boiling Springs to the late Crit and Essie Compton Joines. On April 16, 1954, he married the former Nora Frances Ragan, who survives. He served in the Navy from 1947 to 1950. He worked at John Deere as a welder for 32 years retiring in 1982. He loved playing golf and euchre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Opal Butler and Dixie Lee.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Jerry and Debbie Joines, Randy and Linda Joines all of Texas, and David and Carmen of Nevada; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Gary Bottorff of Moline; grandchildren Chad, Brandon, and Ashley of Texas, Sabina of Nevada, and Samantha Shaaf of Milan; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Fay and Pat Joines of Lafayette; and sisters and brother-in-law Edith Bean of Nashville, Dinky Jenkins of Red Boiling Springs, and Jo and Roy Knight of Hermitage Springs.
Services were conducted at the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Jimmy Cook officiating.

Charles Donald Ledbetter, 70
CELINA-Charles Donald Ledbetter of Celina passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Ledbetter was born December 27, 1938 in Allons to the late John H. and Flora (Ray) Ledbetter. He was a crane operator at Ford Automotive.
He is survived by daughter Wendy Keen of Celina; sons Ricky Ledbetter of Texas and Ronnie Ledbetter of Ohio; special caretaker Liz Abbott; three sisters–Pauline Brown of Celina, Ruth Hunter of Ohio, and Linda Gray of Livingston; brother David Ledbetter of Allons; four nephews–Mark Ledbetter, Carl Edward Ledbetter, David Ledbetter, and Randy Walker; niece Marcela Martinez; and several grandchildren.
Hall Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
