Betty Jo Dailey, 65
CELINA-Ms. Betty Jo Dailey, age 65, of Hilham, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at home. The family chose cremation to honor her wishes.
She was born on Wednesday, June 10, 1959, to Deward and Helen (Fikes) Dailey. She was preceded in death by her father.
Betty was a retired LPN where she worked many years in healthcare. She enjoyed riding horses. She loved raising and taking care of animals especially dogs and chickens. She also enjoyed crafting with beads. When she was younger, she was active member of the Rescue Squad.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Watson (Amber), Craig Capps (Christy); mother, Helen Dailey; sisters, Sue Ashburn and Lisa McDonald; grandchildren; Acelyn Capps and Lyla Watson; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.

Reginald “Reggie” Ballard, 59
TOMPKINSVILLE, KY-Funeral services for Reginald “Reggie” Ballard of Celina and formerly of Tompkinsville, KY were held on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial followed at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Lucas Geralds and Hope Ballard Presley officiated the service. Visitation was held Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, 7:00 a.m. until service time. Serving as pallbearers were Bryan Melton, Nathan “Pooter” Bradley, Keith “Butter” Geralds, Spencer Combs, Richard Hammer and Mitchell Pruitt.
Reginald “Reggie” Ballard, age 59, passed away Saturday, July 27th, at his home.
Reggie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 19, 1965, a son of the late Reba (Russell) and Harley Ballard.
Reggie married Peggy Head Ballard in November of 1985. Peggy preceded him in death on June 19, 2021.
He was a 1983 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. He worked at Wal-Mart for nearly the past 20 years. Prior to that, he and his wife owned Dale Hollow BBQ, Key Stop Gas Station and Porky Shake. Reggie was a member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church. He most loved being “Pa” to his three grandchildren.
Reggie is survived by a daughter, Hope Presley (Kevin), of Rickman, TN; a son, Cody Ballard (Tasha) of Celina, TN; three grandchildren, Eila Presley, Ava and Creed Ballard. Reggie is also survived by two sisters, Regina Turner and Roetta Arnett (Steve), and a brother, Richard Ballard, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
