ORNAMENT CONTEST-The winners of the 2025 Recycling Ornament Contest have been announced and those pictured (in no particular order) for the presentation of awards included Gavin Boone, Miley Likens, Griffin Kendall, Layla Kendall, Everie Stafford, and Emmitt Stafford of Celina K-8, along with Jadynn Cox, Joshua McLerran, and Hunter McLerran of Hermitage Springs School.  They were presented their awards by Clay County Mayor Dale Reagan and Clay County Sanitation Department Director Meghan Deckard. Other winners not pictured included Remi Jane Browning, Sophia Carter, Brentley Jolin, Lyric Spees, and Everleigh Rich. The theme of the contest was “Christmas Movie Magic,” and ornaments were made from recycled paper, plastic, metal, wood, and more. (shared photo)
