Outdoor Channel’s Fishing University filming on Dale Hollow this weekend; Pro fishermen to greet public this Sunday in Celina
CELINA-Longtime professional anglers and television show hosts Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier will be joined by Bassmaster Elite Series pros John Crews and Mike McClelland here at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce building for a meet and greet session this weekend and the public is invited to attend.
The fishermen are making the stop here Sunday, December 8 at 5:30 p.m. as a part of their visit to Dale Hollow Lake–where the foursome will be filming an episode of the Outdoor Channel’s popular Fishing University show.
“This will be an opportunity for fishermen to speak with the experts who appear on the Outdoor Channel’s “Fishing University” and learn more about bass fishing,” local chamber director Ray Norris said. “We are excited about having them here and hope the public will come out to the event this weekend.”
Ingram, Brazier, Crews, and McClelland will square off in a tournament-like format for the show’s filming here on the lake. According to the show’s website (fishingu.com), Fishing University is now in its 26th year of providing highly instructional, in-depth coverage on the whys and hows of fishing, and the anglers hope to provide more of the same as they take to the waters of Dale Hollow Lake this week.
The group will also present a program about the importance of getting a great education and landing “a job you can love in the outdoors” at Livingston Academy on Monday morning, December 9. They will be joined there by special guest Melanie Beauchamp of the Tennessee Department of Tourism.
