Confederate flags like the one shown here marking the grave of fallen Confederate soldier John H. Stone will placed on all the known graves of Confederate soldiers buried in Clay County by the local United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) in recognition of April being Confederate History and Heritage Month.  Beth Gentry (pictured) helped the UDC honor her great-great-grandfather who served in Company C, 1 Tennessee Calvary as a Private during the War Between the States.  (photo submitted) See more in the April 13, 2011 edition of the Dale Hollow Horizon newspaper.
