NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated February 16,2012, of record at Trust Deed Book 125, pages 702-704, Register’s Office of Clay County, Tennessee, Noel Singer and Deborah Tinsley, conveyed in trust to James D. White, Jr., Trustee, that property hereinafter described to secure the payment of a certain promissory note; and
WHEREAS, Sandy Barlow, is presently the owner and holder of said Promissory Note and Deed of Trust above referred to, securing the indebtedness therein mentioned; and
WHEREAS, default has occurred under the terms of the Promissory Note and the Deed of Trust, thereby necessitating foreclosure, and Sandy Barlow, has directed James D. White, Jr., as Trustee, to immediately commence foreclosure on the subject property;
NOW THEREFORE this Trustee’s Notice of Sale, default having occurred in the payment of the Promissory Note according to the terms and conditions thereof, and the Promissory Note being in default, the undersigned, James D. White, Jr., Trustee, does hereby give notice that he, as attorney, and/or agent, will sell the hereinafter described property on May 22,2014, at the hour of 1:00 p.m., at the South door of the Courthouse in Celina, Clay County, Tennessee, to the last, highest and best bidder, for cash in hand and free from the rights of redemption, homestead, and dower, and all other exemptions of any kind, but subject to any delinquent or current real property taxes on the property, and any valid mineral and/or oil and gas leases. The property to be sold is described as follows, lying and being in the 1st Civil District of Clay County, Tennessee, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING on a Light Pole at edge of Arcot Road; thence along edge of said road North 07-00 West 3 10 feet to a Iron Post; Thence South 86-00 West 780 feet to a Iron Post at edge of road; Thence along edge of said road South 11 -00 East 250 feet to a Iron Post; Thence South 86-30 East 250; Thence South 60-30 East 152 feet to a Iron Post; Thence East 400 feet to the point of the beginning containing 6.0 acres more or less. This being Tract No. 6 as shown on existing plat according to a survey done by Willie H. Watson license #406.
EXCLUDED from the above described lands is a certain tract of land and the right of ingress and egress conveyed to Kenny Meadows and Scottie Arnett from Sandy Barlow by warranty deed dated July 15,201 1, and recorded in Deed Book 96, pages 696-697, Register’s Office of Clay Comity, Tennessee, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a wood stake at a marked hickory located behind the mobile home owned by Sandra Barlow, said stake being at the southwest comer of Deed Book 61, pages 47-49, Register’s Office of Clay County, Tennessee; thence with the western boundary of Barlow northwardly 80 feet to a light pole; thence southeastwardly 110 feet to a point; thence northwestwardly 80 feet to tlie point of beginning, and being a triangular shaped piece of land.
Also conveyed herewith is the right of ingress and egress to the above described property from Gentry Lane.
And being the same lands conveyed to Noel Singer and Deborah Tinsley from Sandy Barlow by warranty deed dated February 17,2012, and recorded in Deed Book 97, pages 668-669, Register’s Office of Clay Comity, Tennessee.
This sale is subject to all matters shown on any applicable recorded plat; any unpaid taxes; any restrictive covenants; easements, or set back lines that may be applicable; any statutory rights or redemption of any Governmental Agency, State or Federal; any prior liens or encumbrances as well as any priority created by fixture filing; to any matter that an accurate survey of the premises might disclose; and subject to, but not limited to the following parties who may claim an interest in the above referenced property; Noel Singer, Deborah Tinsley and Sandy Barlow, and subject to any party who may claim an interest in the above referenced property.
The sale held pursuant to this notice may be rescheduled at the Trustee’s option at any time.

Notice is hereby given that on the 1st day of May, 2014, Letters of Administration in respect of the estate of Daffo Boles Scott, who died on April 21, 2014 were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Clay County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims matured or unmatured against the Estate are required to file same with the Clerk of the above named court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise their claims will be forever barred.
(1) (a) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication ( or posting);

The Clay County Mayor’s Office is requesting bids for a roof replacement on the Clay County Public Library. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Clay County Mayor’s Office by June 2, 2014 or presented at the County Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. on June 2nd.
