Rabies clinics begin Saturday in Celina
CELINA-The annual rabies vaccination clinics to be held at various locations across Clay County during the months of April and May, will begin this weekend here with a clinic to be held at Dr. Donaldson’s veterinarian office Saturday and they will continue in the coming weeks.
All dog and cat owners are urged to take advantage of the special price of $8 per shot during the clinic times.
“By vaccinating your pets, you are helping protect yourself and others against the spread of rabies,” said Clay County Health Department environmentalist Donald Collins.
All dogs and cats three months old or older should be vaccinated, Collins said.
Pet owners can take their pets to one of these open clinics this Saturday through Tuesday, May 12:
• Saturday, April 21–Donaldson’s office, 8-10 a.m.,
• Tuesday, April 24–Maple Grove School, 5-6 p.m.,
• Saturday, April 28–Hermitage Springs Bank, 10-11 a.m.,
• Tuesday, May 1–Donaldson’s office, 4-6 p.m., and
• Saturday, May 12–Oak Grove (Brenda’s Restaurant), 10-11 a.m.
A clinic will also be held in Jackson County at the Jackson County Health Department on Saturday, May 12 from 12-3 p.m.
