Recovery Walk a huge success at Hermitage Springs Park

Hundreds show up for latest Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition effort
HERMITAGE SPRINGS-The Together We Rise Recovery Walk hosted by the Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition here Saturday at Hermitage Springs Park was an overwhelming success, according to organizers and evidenced by the huge crowd in attendance.
“Wow—we are still blown away by the turnout today!” CCADC officials exclaimed on Facebook. “We counted over 150 people who came out to support, celebrate, and stand in hope together.
“Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, and celebrated with us. This community shows up, and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.”
Participants not only enjoyed free food, resources, and support, they also left inspired by the sheer number in attendance.
“To anyone struggling: You are not alone,” the CCADC posted, along with a group photo from the event. “There is a whole community ready to stand with you, walk with you, and celebrate every step forward with you. Hope lives here.”
