REDLINE offers treatment help
The Tennessee REDLINE (1-800-889-9789) is an information and referral resource for those fighting addictions. This toll-free line provides current information about alcohol, drug, problem gambling, and other addictions and also offers sources for treatment.
Sandra Smith of the Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition urges, “If you or someone you know is suffering with an addiction, call the REDLINE to find information about treatment and other programs available, and give the gift of help.”
Addictions can take over a person, what they do, and how they treat others. “People with an addiction do not have control over what they are doing, taking, or using” according to Medical News Today. Thankfully, there are resources to help.
