CELINA-The Clay County Rescue Squad has been selected to host a regional meeting of rescue squads here in June, officials announced last week.

The Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads announced the Clay County Rescue Squad will host a regional meeting “that will bring rescue squad equipment and personnel from all over the state here, along with the Women’s Rescue Assistance Organization,” a local spokesperson said.

The event will be held at the Celina K-8 school on June 20, with all types of rescue vehicles and as many as three helicopters on the grounds during the meeting, the spokesperson said.

Several state rescue personnel will also be here to visit before the event is held. “The Clay County Rescue Squad asks that you welcome all the rescue squad members to Clay County,” the spokesperson said.
