HERMITAGE SPRINGS-Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth Ann Rush of Hermitage Springs were held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Interment followed in the Browning Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Danny Shaw, Danny Gentry, Bradley Shoulders, Michael Ritter, Stevie Pitcock, Anthony Burton and Randall.

Mrs. Ruth Ann Rush, age 51, passed away Friday, January 8, 2012 at the Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ruth Ann Rush was born October 18, 1960 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Buford Sidney and Ina Ruth (Reagan) Ritter.

She was a homemaker and was  a member of MT. Vernon Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Rush; sisters, Joy May Pascal and Linda Faye Ritter; 2 Nephews, Dustin “Bubba” Shaw and Robert Eugene Jenkins

She is survived by her Sisters, Betty Lee Ritter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Rebecca Lynn Shaw of Hermitage Springs; Nephew, Michael Ritter of Hermitage Springs; Nieces, Amanda Ritter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Ammie Shoulders of Red Boiling Springs; Great Nieces, Alexis Reece, Addison Shoulders and Avarie Shoulders.
