“Science Guy” ends Summer Reading Program with a bang
The Clay County Library Summer Reading Program ended with a bang as Keith Trehy , also known as Mr. Bond the Science Guy, entertained the children and adults with science. The show included magnets, earth facts, and exploding volcanoes. Every child was able to make their own “planet” to take home with them.
The Clay County Library board will meet this Wednesday, July 31, at 1:00. The meeting is open to the public, but we will be unable to check any material in or out during the meeting.
The library has several new books in this week. ”Touching the Sky” by Tracie Peterson, “The Line Between Here and Gone” by Andrea Kane, “Death Angel” by Linda Fairstein, “The Amish Seamstress” by Mindy Starns Clark, “Light of the World” by James Lee Burke, “The Highway” by C. J. Box, “The Tattered Quilt” by Wanda Brunstetter, and “God Never Blinks” by Regina Brett are all available for our patrons. Come in and check us out!
