Friendship……………..62
Coming off big wins over Jackson County and Clarkrange, the Clay County Bulldogs faced highly-ranked Friendship Christian here last Saturday night, but the game was a “no-contest” match-up as the Commanders flexed their muscles for the 16-point victory by a score of 62-46.
Even though emotions were running high because the contest was the final home game for seniors Trent Boles, Matt Copeland, Dylan Birdwell, and Jon Smith, the visiting team jumped out to a 22-6 lead after one and never looked back as the Bulldogs struggled to find the basket the entire game.
The contest was never in question as Friendship led by 21 at the break and both teams cleared their benches in the second half.
