HERMITAGE SPRINGS-The 2011 4-H Public Speaking contest was hosted here recently and students from Maple Grove, Celina K-8, and Hermitage Springs participated after a greeting from school Principal Cherry Ann Denton, who stressed the importance of being a good public speaker.
Students placing first or second will represent Clay County in the regional contest in January.
