“Swinging Bridge” at Pleasant Grove on Dale Hollow is closed for repairs until further notice
CELINA-The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Dale Hollow Lake is giving public notice that the suspension bridge at Pleasant Grove Recreation Area in Clay County, Tennessee will be closed until further notice.
A recent inspection by local U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel revealed potential safety risks and it has been deemed unsafe for public access. The bridge will be barricaded and restricted to all public access.
This suspension bridge, known locally as the “swinging bridge,” is an extremely popular facility and is a highly visited feature in the local area.
