CELINA-The Celina K-8 junior high boys basketball team ran its record to 12-1 on the season with a win over Macon County here just before Christmas break.

The 47-41 win avenged an earlier, 33-31 loss just a few days before at Macon County, the Junior Dawgs’ first loss of the year.

The boys also won an overtime thriller on the road at Jackson County, 35-33.
