MT. VERNON-Funeral Services for Truman Rush, 79 of Mt. Vernon will be held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Upton Funeral Home with Glen Crowe officiating interment in Browning Cemetery.

Truman Rush passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee.

Truman Rush was born April 6, 1931 to the late William Howard and Vassie (Gravens) Rush.

Truman was retired lubber grader and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

He is survived by wife, Ruth Ann rush of Mt. Vernon; sister, Flossie Clinton of Kokomo, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Rush, Jody Rush and Olin Rush; sister, Maudie Clinton.

Serving as pallbearers were Michael Ritter, Danny Shaw, Brad Shoulders, Stevie Pitcock, Garnet Cherry and Tommy Cherry

Upton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
