Weaver, Smith exchange vows

HERMITAGE SPRINGS-Lauren Beth Weaver and Eli Douglas Smith exchanged vows Saturday, June 7, 2025 here on the Smith Family Farm, with Daniel Strong officiating and a large contingency of friends and family in attendance.
Lauren is the daughter of Thomas and Angie Weaver of Celina, while Eli is the son of Shane and Lesley Smith of Hermitage Springs.
Lauren’s lifelong childhood friend Zoe Hayes served as her Maid of Honor, and Eli’s father was his Best Man.
Attending the bride were Lauren’s close friends Briley Burchett, Kama Johnson, and Riley Moss, along with her brother’s fiancé Autumn Brewer, who was accompanied by baby Baine Roberts, and Eli’s sister Lily Smith, who was joined by Lauren and Eli’s dog June.
Groomsmen included Eli’s brothers Isaac and Andrew, his cousin Brayden Moss, his lifelong friend Gunnar Silk, and Lauren’s brother Bailey Roberts.
Also joining the wedding party were Lauren’s niece and nephews, as Briar Roberts served as the flower girl and both Brewer Colson and Vaylor Roberts as ring bearers.
Lauren is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Eduction. She will graduate from Tennessee Tech University in early 2026 and hopes to begin her teaching career in Clay County.
Eli continues to work alongside his father on the Smith Family Farm, which is also where the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith have established their home.
