RED BOILING SPRINGS – Funeral Services for Weldon Davis of the Milestown Community in Clay County, TN  were conducted Saturday afternoon, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Kirk Dodson officiating.  Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  His great-nephews served as pallbearers.

Weldon Davis, age 85, passed away Thursday morning, December 16, 2010 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs.

On August 30, 1947, he married the former Clodean Browning, who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Odell Davis Rush and niece, Elwanda Rush Meadows.  Weldon was employed with the former Tennessee Mills in the Hermitage Springs Community with 20 years of service and was a member of the Milestown Church of Christ.

Survivors besides his wife, Clodean of 63 years include:  nieces and their husbands, Juanita & Randell Gass, Sue & Bobby Meadows all of the Milestown Community, Peggy  & Jerry Kirby, Kirbytown Community, nephew & his wife, Dean & Gayla Rush, Gibbs Crossroads Community and a host of friends and relatives.
