MOSS – Funeral Services for Willie Jim “Tom” Brown, 88 of Moss were held Monday, December 27, 2010 at Upton Funeral Home with officiating. Burial was in Denton-Eads Cemetery.

Tom Brown passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Willie Jim Brown was born December 18, 1921 in Moss, Tennessee to the late Luke and Cora (Craighead) Brown.

Willie Brown was a farmer and affiliated with the Church of Christ.

His family includes spouse, Mona Brown of Moss; sons, Buster Brown &  Frances of Moss & Clyde Brown & wife, Peggy of Moss; daughters, Diana Webb & husband, Ronnie of Celina, Joy Rhoton of Moss and Wendy Spears & husband, David of Moss; brothers, Aaron Brown of Moss and Thurman Brown of Lebanon, Tennessee; sister, Iva Dean Eads of Moss;  grandchildren, Mickey Webb, Hanna Boles, Michael Webb, Lindsey Woosley, Megan Rhoton, Ethan Rhoton and Olivia Spears and  great grandchildren, Allie Emerton, Eli Emerton, Carlee Webb and Mitchell Boles.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Eldon Brown; brothers, Willis and Robert Brown; sisters, Louise Melton and Pat Turner.

Serving as pallbearers were Steven Melton, Sam Melton, Ethan Rhoton, Randall Eads, Mickey Webb and Michael Webb
